The official team selectors of Bangladesh Cricket Board have recently announced the 15-man squad for the upcoming T20I series against India next month. The selectors have recalled left-arm spinner Arafat Sunny and star pacer Al-Amin Hossain in the team for important cricketing tour against Virat Kohli and team. While the exclusion of stalwarts like Taijul Islam, Sabbir Rahman and Nazmul Hossain from the team came as a big shock for all the cricket fans. In the coming three-match T20I series, experienced all-rounder cricketer Shakib Al Hasan will lead the Bangladeshi Tigers against Virat Kohli’s troops.
Both the teams will start their grand cricket campaign on November 3rd, 2019 and will continue till November 26th. At first, both India and Bangladesh will take on each other in a three-match T20I series. This will be then followed by a two-match Test series between both the squads which is scheduled to be held from November 14th. It will be interesting to see how the hosts will welcome the visitors in the shortest format.
Notably, the Bangladeshi Tigers have not announced their Test squad against men in blue yet but it will be declared by the visitors soon. On the other side, the hosting team India is yet to declare its squad against Bangladesh for the upcoming T20I series. As per the reports, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will announce the Indian T20I squad for the forthcoming fixture after its official meeting on October 24th. The newly-appointed president of the apex cricket body Sourav Ganguly will reveal the lucky name of the players participating in the T20I series next month.
Currently, the Indian cricketers are practicing hard in the nets to successfully take on South African squad in the third and last Test encounter at JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi on Saturday.
