The Board and the whole sports fraternity took to Twitter in order to welcome Indian Wing Commander. BCCI has posted a special message on Twitter with the name of Abhinandan Varthaman engraved on a Jersey of Team India.

Further he will be taken for a detailed medical check-up in Delhi.

PM Modi proudly welcomed the pilot and tweeted, “Welcome Home Wing Commander Abhinandan! The nation is proud of your exemplary courage. Our armed forces are an inspiration for 130 crore Indians. Vande Mataram!
