The star Indian cricketers Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant who are currently showing their talents for Delhi Capitals in ongoing tournament of Indian Premier League (IPL) have been appointed as the brand ambassadors of leading energy drink brand, Boost on Tuesday. Both the cricketers joined Virat Kohli and Mahendra Singh Dhoni for promoting the brand. Legendary cricketers Dhoni and Kohli have been associated with Boost since very long time.
Iyer and Pant are the perfect choice for the new faces of brand as both are the young achievers in Indian cricket team and best option to empower young cricketers outside the field who wants to become champion one day in sports and life as well.
The 21-year-old young talent of India, Pant expressed his feelings on joining Boost by saying, “I am delighted to be part of the Boost family, a brand that has been associated with sports and loved by kids for decades”. He also added, “in my case, it was my family that always encouraged me. Boost is doing the same by inspiring kids to play a bigger game”,while the skipper of Delhi Capitals Shreyas Iyer said after his successful collaboration with the leading brand, “Boost has an iconic presence in India with legends of the game, like Virat Kohli and M.S. Dhoni, being associated with it. I’m humbled to be part of such a brand and looking forward to super-energetic innings with Boost”.
Moreover, Rishabh Pant was not able to make his way into 15-men squad in ICC World Cup 2019, starting from May 30 till July 14, 2019 as the Indian team selectors picked experienced cricketer Dinesh Karthik over pant. Though the absence of Rishabh Pant in World Cup squad is one of the glaring exclusion. However, Shreyas Iyer is also included in the big names who have been left out from the World Cup squad.
