Ahead of biggest cricket tournament ICC World Cup 2019, England has recently announced the 15-men squad for splendid cricket event which is set to be lead by Eoin Morgan. The England cricket selectors took to Twitter to share their provisional 15-men squad on Wednesday. Though, the star cricket player of England Jofra Archer has been left out from the squad which came as a big shock for his fans as the 24-year-old young all-rounder seems to be in a great form these days. He is currently playing for Rajasthan Royals in the ongoing IPL event. Not only Jofra but England cricketers including Ben Stokes, Moeen Ali, Jos Buttler and Jonny Bairstow are currently playing for their respective franchises in IPL 2019.

Hosting team England will kick-start the cricket cup campaign against South Africa on May 30 at The Oval Stadium, London. England announced the World Cup squad five days prior to the deadline of naming the squads. The last date to name the squads is April 23, 2019. Apart from England, teams like India, New Zealand, Bangladesh and Australia already announced their CWC 2019 squad. Moreover, before commencing their grand cricket campaign, England will take on Ireland in One Day International (ODI) match on May 3 while the English squad will play their five-match ODI series against Pakistan from May 5, 2019.


The 12th edition of ICC World Cup hosted by England and Wales will begin from May 30 and the final of the glitzy tournament will be played on July 14 at Lord’s Stadium, London.
