England Vs Pakistan, a 3-match test series is going on in England, the home side won the first test by 3 wickets. England has a 1-0 lead over Pakistan in the 3-match test series. The second match of the 3 match test series will start on 13th August at 3:30 PM IST.

England has a chance to win the 3 match test series, if they defeat Pakistan in the 2nd test match they will be declared as winners. England has not won a test series against Pakistan in the last 10 years, now they have a chance to do so if they win the next match against Pakistan in Rose Bowl Cricket Ground. 

England’s world cup winning all-rounder Ben Stokes will not play against Pakistan in the 2nd test match, he has taken his name because of some personal reasons. Stokes got out on 0 in the first inning of the match and the second inning he scored 9, along with that he took 2 wickets for his team.

Zak Crawley may replace Ben Stokes 

English top-order batsman Zak Crawley will replace Ben Stokes in the 2nd test match against Pakistan, Crawley has scored 261 runs in 6 test matches. Crawley was not included in the playing 11 in the last test match played against West Indies last month. Stokes was included as a batsman as Crawley’s replacement. 

4 test series have been played between the two nations in the last 10 years

Before this England won the test series against Pakistan 3-1 in July 2010, that series was played in England only. From then till now both teams have played 4 test series, Pakistan won the test series which were played in UAE in 2012 and 2015. On the other hand, two test series which were played in England ended up in a draw.
