As Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh turns 40 today, his teammates from the Indian cricket team have wished him through their social media handles. Virat Kohli and Yuvraj Singh came up with some hilarious birthday wishes, whereas former Indian cricketer Mohammed Kaif recalls the day when he first saw Harbhajan.
Virat Kohli took Instagram and posted a story for his former teammate. Kohli wrote, “Oh balle Bhajju paa what a kick. Wishing you a very happy birthday paji. God bless. Kick improve krlo please.” Kohli even trolled himself in the story as he wrote, “Throwback to fatter times.”
Former Indian batsman Mohammed Kaif was one of the firsts to wish the Indian bowler. He wrote on Twitter, “Bhajji ‘turns’ 40! One of India’s greatest match-winners. Two-time WC winner & picked 711 wickets for India. First saw him in the U-16 game in Panaji in 1996 & he looked special. Aggressive on the field but yaaron ka yaar. Janamdin ki dher saari shubhkaamnaaein @harbhajan_singh.”
However Harbhajan’s best friend and one of the India’s greatest player Yuvraj Singh came up with one of the best and funniest wishes. Yuvi posted a video o twitter and wrote, “Is it your happy 40 or 47 Here’s a glimpse of the wonderful years spent pulling each other’s leg, sometimes pants too You have always proved to the world Singh you will always be King After quarantine party to leni hai 100%, have a great day love you paaji @harbhajan3.”
Harbhajan has played 103 test matches for the country taking more than 400 wickets in them. Whereas in ODIs he played around 236 matches and took 269 wickets in them. In test matches, he has even scored two hundred and 9 fifty-plus scores.
