The 32nd match of ICC World Cup 2019 will witness two title favourite teams England and Australia taking on each other at Lord’s Cricket Stadium on June 25th, 2019. Both the teams have played total six games so far in the ongoing tournament.

The five-time World Cup title winners Aussies started their campaign with two back-to-back victories against Afghanistan and West Indies respectively. Though in their third match against Indian tigers, Kangaroos faced a speed breaker in winning momentum as they lost that game by 36 runs at The Oval stadium. Aaron Finch-led squad then bounced back in the fourth game against Pakistan where they scored 307 runs and defeated the green army by 41 runs. Aussies kept the same kind of dominance alive in their fifth match also where they beat the Sri Lankan squad by as many as 87 runs. In their last match against Bangladesh, Australian squad again sealed the game with a clinical 48-run win at Trent Bridge stadium.  Now they are looking forward to continue at the same pace against England in their seventh match of ongoing World Cup tournament.

The hosts of the season started their 2019 World Cup journey with a remarkable 104-run win over Proteas at ‘The Oval’ stadium but in their next match against Pakistan, English cricketers’ squad was shocked by a 14-run defeat at the Trent Bridge Stadium. Though, in their third game, Morgan’s troop fought back and won the game with a margin of 106 runs. keeping their winning streak alive in the fourth match also England defeated the lowly ranked West Indies at Rose Bowl Cricket Ground stadium with an amazing eight-wicket win. In the fifth match, England won by 150 runs against hapless Afghanistan. In their last match against Sri Lanka, hosting team again faced the jolt in their campaign as they fall short by just 20 runs at Headingley cricket stadium.

Both England and Australia have played total seven matches against each other in World Cup fixtures so far out of which Australia had won five matches and England came out with just two victories. The highest total posted by Australian cricket team against England in World Cup clashed so far is 342 runs while the highest total posted by England squad against Aussies in World Cup matches so far is 247. As per their One Day International (ODIs) records both the teams have faced each other a total of 147 times in ODIs out of which Australia had clinched 81 matches whereas England sealed only 61 wins and five matches got no results.

The weather is likely to be cloudy in the match between Australia and England on June 25th and there are some chances for heavy rain at the pitch of Lord’s Cricket Stadium during the much-awaited battle. As per the weather the report, temperature during the game will hover between 21 to 27 degree Celsius and 66% of humidity level could be expected later in the day.
