As Afghanistan is participating in its first ever World Cup, all the cricket fans in the country will get a chance to watch 50-over maiden tournament via state broadcaster Radio Television Afghanistan (RTA). The biggest cricket event will reach more than 20 million audiences. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has also announced to organize big fan parks across the country with the help of other media partners.

The global broadcaster of 2019 ICC World Cup edition, Star Sports will broadcast the tournament live to more than 200 territories via 25 broadcast partners.

Moreover, the 12th edition of ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup is going to be broadcasted in all over the world through one of the best sports broadcasters including Star Sports (official broadcaster in India and the rest of the Indian Sub-continent), Sky Sports (official broadcaster in United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland), SuperSport (official broadcaster in South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa),  OSN (official broadcaster in Middle East & North Africa), Fox Sports Australia and Channel 9 (official broadcaster in Australia), Willow TV (official broadcaster in USA), Sky TV and Prime (official broadcaster in New Zealand), Ten Sports and PTV (official broadcaster in Pakistan), ESPN (official broadcaster in Caribbean), Gazi TV, Maasranga and BTV (official broadcaster in all Bangladesh), SLRC (official broadcaster in Sri Lanka) and Fox Network Group (official broadcaster in China and South East Asia), Digicel (official broadcaster in Asia Pacific), Radio Television Afghanistan (official broadcaster in Afghanistan) and Yupp TV (official broadcaster in Continental Europe and Central Asia). Not only this, the tournament will also be broadcasted in a total of seven regional languages across India.

Furthermore, Afghanistan men will start their grand cricket cup campaign against five-time World Cup Champions Australia on June 1, 2019, at Bristol County Ground, England. Moreover, before starting their prestigious campaign Gulbadin Naib led Afghanistan squad will play a warm-up fixture against the hosts England on May 24 and face Pakistan in another warm-up battle on May 27.
