The stage has been set for the historic match of India’s first-ever Day-Night Test at iconic Eden Gardens starting from November 22 till November 26th. From all the Indian cricket fans across the world to legendary cricketers, everybody wants to be the part of this unforgettable night in Kolkata. As a result, the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) led by BCCI President, Sourav Ganguly has opened the doors for all the spectators to gather a full house at Eden Gardens in the second and the final Test encounter between India and Bangladesh.
The CAB is offering the match tickets for Day-Night Test between blues and tigers ranging from just Rs 50 to Rs 150 in order to make the event more successful at the home soil. The largest cricket stadium of India, Eden Gardens has the capacity of almost 68,000 spectators and in the upcoming second Test encounter between India and Bangladesh, it is expecting that the stadium will be fully packed by the local crowd. The match is scheduled to start from 1:00 pm (Indian Standard Time).
The CAB official has recently said on the development, “more than 50,000 people to witness India’s first pink-ball D/N Test at Eden Gardens each day for first three days as demand for tickets shoots through the roof. It’s for the first three days and the demands are really high.”
It will be interesting to see how the men in blue will perform with the pink ball in front of the home crowd in Kolkata. Both the teams will start their Test campaign from November 14th. The first Test encounter will be played at Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore. In the recently concluded three-match T20I series against the tigers, Indian clinched the 2-1 win on home soil. Despite having a bad start, Rohit Sharma and team bounced back in the series and finally sealed it with a perfect win.
