Keeping their dominance alive in the game, Indian men are now looking forward to sealing the ongoing ODI series with a clinical win against West Indies on Wednesday at Port of Spain, Trinidad. In their second ODI battle against Windies, Men in Blue outclassed Jason Holder’s team once again by 59 runs via DLS method.
Batting first, Indian cricketers posted a commendable target of 279 runs after winning the toss against West Indies in 2nd One Day International match of ongoing series. All thanks to the much-awaited century of star skipper Virat Kohli and young talented player Shreyas Iyer who made 71 runs off 68 balls for his squad’s emphatic win. India’s very first battle of three-match ODI series against Windies at Providence Stadium was washed off due to heavy rain. The official authorities had to abandon the game just after 13 overs when West Indies was batting.
On the other hand, West Indies is also fully prepared to bounce back in the game as only one match left in the ongoing ODI series and Windies didn’t win even a single game against India. It will be interesting to see whether Windies’ men face another painful defeat against Blues or win the game and end with a 1-1 verdict in ongoing ODI series.
