The countdown for Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 has begun and the sale of tickets for opening battle between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is going to commence from March 16. Both the teams will play their first match of IPL 2019 on March 23 at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. Online sales of opening match tickets will start at 11.30 a.m. on March 16 and continue until all tickets are sold out and the counters for the tickets will open at Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) at 11.30 a.m and closed at 6 p.m (lunch break between 12.30 p.m. to 2 p.m). Details of sales of tickets for rest of the CSK’s home matches will be announced later. The sale of online tickets will depend on their availability.
Tickets for C, D and E lower tier have been priced for Rs 1,300 while tickets for C and E upper tier priced for Rs 2,500. Hospitality tickets will be available at the rate of Rs 5000 and Rs 6,500. The Entrance of general public for the inaugural match of IPL 2019 (CSK vs RCB) will take place from M J Gopalan Gate, Victoria Hostel Road, Chennai.
The opening clash between MS Dhoni led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Virat Kohli led Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) would be a mouthwatering match as both the veteran cricketers would try to make a point to the fans. The Yellow team cricketers have even shot for their theme song ‘Whistle Podu’ which created buzz among IPL fans. Star cricketers like Mohit Sharma, Suresh Raina and Murali Vijay were also present the ad campaigns for the franchise for the upcoming event.
