IPL 2019

KXIP WON: Live Score -KKR – 185/3 (18 Overs) vs KXIP – 183/6 (20 Overs)

The 52nd match of the Indian Premier League 2019 will be played between the Kings XI Punjab and Kolkata Knight Riders at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium in Mohali. This will also be the second last match for both these teams in the 2019 edition.

Currently, both the teams are placed at the sixth and seventh positions respectively with 10 points each but as Kolkata has a better Net Run Rate, they are placed a position up. But the qualification scenario for both the teams will not going to be easy as not only the losing side of this match will get eliminated but the winning side also needs to win their last game as well and also depend on the results of the matches of other teams.

Last time when these two teams met, it was just the sixth match of this tournament and that game was played at the Eden Gardens where the hosts, KKR won the comprehensively by a margin of 28 runs. The crowd witnessed some clean hitting by almost all KKR batsmen while for KXIP, Agarwal, Miller and Mandeep Singh batted brilliantly. But a lot has happened after that game as a lot of players that used to be a part of these two teams were dropped with the advent of time which include the likes of Robin Uthappa, Lockie Ferguson and Kuldeep Yadav for KKR while Sarfaraz Khan, Varun Chakravarthy and Andrew Tye for KXIP.

As far as team changes are concerned, KXIP are expected a make a few changes in their Playing XI as they had a forgettable last match where they lost against the Sunrisers Hyderabad by a massive margin of 45 runs. Mujeeb ur Rahman had a horrible last night where he had second worst bowling figures in the history of IPL which may rule him out of this game. Also, quite a few changes are expected in their batting department as well. While for KKR, they will look not to disturb the winning combination.
