The world’s largest cricket league, IPL is about to begin from Saturday. Due to Coronavirus pandemic, this time IPL is being organized in the UAE and not in India. The UAE is ready to organize this entire league for the first time. This season, the league round of the IPL will be played in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah. It is not yet decided where the playoffs and finals will be staged. The BCCI has just released the schedule till the league round.
The stadiums of Dubai and Abu Dhabi were decorated with colorful lights before the matches gets underway. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah shared photos of the stadium on Twitter.

Recently, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly visited the Sharjah Stadium to check preparation. Massive renovation work has been carried out at the Sharjah Stadium which includes the installation of a new artificial roof, upgrading Royal Suite besides commentary box, and VIP Hospitality box as per Covid-19 rules.
