Ind Vs NZ Live Score: New Zealand – 93/2 (14.4 Overs) | India – 92 All Out (30.5 Overs)
India and New Zealand will be playing the fourth ODI of the series at Hamilton on 31st January 2019. This will be Rohit Sharma’s 200th ODI game. The icing on the cake for the opener is that he will be captaining the side on this occasion. Rohit will be leading the side in the absence of Virat Kohli who is being rested from the last two ODI games and the T20I series which is to follow the One day International Series.
The teenage sensation and Man of the tournament of Under 19 world cup, Shubman Gill is expected to make his debut in the match. It remains to be seen if he plays then whether he will be India’s number 3 or somebody else will take the duty in the absence of regular skipper. India have already won the series by winning the first three matches. Bowling has been the real difference between the two sides. India has been ably led by Mohammad Shami in the bowling department, he was Man of the Match in the first and the third ODI. Indian bowlers have worked in tandem and have not allowed the Kiwis to make big partnerships which have led to low scores by the hosts.
New Zealand, led by Kane Williamson has made a couple of changes for the last two matches with Todd Astle and Jimmy Neesham coming back into the squad. Both were recovering from injuries and will lend balance to the Kiwi side. Williamson will be looking for improved performances from all his players because even though the series has been lost, there is a lot to play for. These two matches can act as dress rehearsals for the World Cup which starts on May 30 in England.
