India vs Australia cricket match: AUS – 316-All out (50 Overs) | IND – 352/5 (50 Overs)

In order to keep their winning-momentum alive Indian tigers are all set to take on Australia at the pitch of Kennington Stadium, London on June 9th. Both the teams is playing the 14th match of ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2019. Earlier in the ongoing tournament, Aussies had won both the matches in 12th edition of World Cup so far. The squad started their grand cricket cup campaign against Afghanistan where they defeated the Afghans by seven wickets in just 34.5 overs at Bristol County Ground. While in their second match, Aaron Finch-led squad defeated West Indies at Trent Bridge stadium on Thursday with the paltry margin of just 15 runs.

On the other side, men in blues commenced their 2019 World Cup journey on a winning note against South Africa. Indians beat the Proteas squad by a six-wicket win at Rose Bowl Cricket Ground on June 5th. Rohit Sharma’s brilliant century in the grand cricket cup opener helped his side to chase down the target of 228 runs in just 47.3 overs. Now, it will be interesting to see whether India will keep up the same winning spirit in their second match against Australia or the pressure of playing Australia get to them.

Head-on-head:

Australians beat the blues in the head-on-head record at World Cup as the team is leading by 7-2 against India so far. Now, Australia will once again meet the arch-rivals India against whom they began their remarkable One Day International turnaround earlier in March 2019. Aussies defeated the Indian cricketers at their home soil with a 3-2 margin in five-match ODI series. Earlier in World Cup 2015, Australia cruised past the Indian squad by 95 runs in the semifinal round where India failed to chase down the massive target of 329 runs in 50 overs.
Weather Forecast:

Light rains could be expected on Sunday afternoon but still, there are some chances that it will be a bright sunny day throughout the match.
