After an absolute stunning performance in last two T20I encounters against Pakistan at their own den, the powerful visitors of Sri Lanka are all set to wrap-up the prestigious three-match series with a hopeful 3-0 win. Riding high on confidence Lankans are ready to come out with all guns blazing in the final battle of the ongoing series which is scheduled to be held at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. However, Dasun Shanaka-led squad has already won this series with a 2-0 lead and this match is just a formality for them to be officially declared as the winners.
On the other hand, the hosting team Pakistan is hoping to turn the tables around in the last battle and reduce the gap between both teams with a 2-1 verdict. Sarfaraz Ahmed’s men haven’t been clinical with their bat and ball in last two encounters but they are looking forward to perform better in the third T20I clash in front of their home crowd.
It will be interesting to see whether the hosts will be able to bounce back in the game or the visitors will clinch the series with a perfect win. Only time will tell that who will dominate whom in the upcoming battle but the fabulous pitch of Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore is set for the thrilling action-pack drama between both the traditional rivals.
