The rising star of Indian cricket team Prithvi Shaw is back in the ground after serving an eight-month ban by BCCI. The 20-year-old talented cricketer Shaw has recently been included in the 15-member squad of Mumbai for an ongoing tournament of Syed Mushtaq Ali 2019. But he will be eligible to play only from November 17th, 2019 as his ban will be ended on this Friday.

Shaw was suspended by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for alleged doping charges in July 2019. The young player had inadvertently consumed a prohibited substance, Terbutaline which can be commonly found in cough syrups. As a result, BCCI handed him the suspension for eight months from the Indian cricket fraternity. Apart from Shaw, two more players Divya Gajraj of Rajasthan and Akshay Dullarwar of Vidarbha have been suspended by the board for alleged doping violations.

The young cricketer was last seen in action during the Indian Premier League 2019 where he played for Delhi Capitals in front of the home crowd. Now he is all set to make a sensational comeback in the field with the ongoing tournament of Syed Mushtaq Ali.

The brilliant right-handed batsman has recently celebrated his 20th birthday on November 9th and also took to Twitter to assure his fans that he will be back in action very soon. The caption of his post reads, “I turn 20 today. I assure it will be Prithvi Shaw 2.0 going forward. Thank u for all the good wishes & support. I will be back in action soon. #motivation #hardwork #believe”.

Shaw is very much excited about his return to the cricket fraternity it will be interesting to see how will he perform in the upcoming matches of Syed Mushtaq Ali Tournament 2019. The final showdown of the prestigious event is scheduled to take place on December 1st in India.
