Mikel Arteta openly talked about his ambition to win this year’s Europa League title. In the press conference organized on Wednesday, he said, “We are very excited to be playing back in Europe again after a difficult season where we had to earn our right to play here through winning the FA Cup. It’s a big bonus for us.

“We want to make the best out of it and every competition that we are involved in. Our aim is to try to win it.”

This is the first encounter between the two teams. Arsenal last played an Austrian team in the 1991/92 European Cup, where they came out as 6-1 winners against Austria Vienna at home, before losing 1-0 away.
