One of the greatest footballers of all time Lionel Messi turned 32-year-old today (June 24th, 2019) and on such a delighted occasion all his diehard fans flooded the social media with heartfelt wishes. There is no doubt in saying that Messi has taken football to another level with his majestic performances in the field and maybe this is the reason that Messi is no less than a magician when he is on the field.

The star forward of Barcelona FC has claimed a total of 34 big tournament trophies so far along with 10 La Liga titles four UEFA Champions League titles and six Copas del Rey. Earlier in last month ‘Greatest of all Times’ (G.O.A.T) footballer reached to the milestone of 600 goals in club football after his squad’s semifinals match in Champions League 2019. Messi took just 683 games to reach the benchmark of 600 while his arch-rival Cristiano Ronaldo took 799 games to touch the 600-goal mark.

Not only this, the superstar skipper of Argentina football squad holds the record for the highest number of goals in La Liga matches with total 419 goals, the highest number of hat-tricks in UEFA league with eight and the most assists in La Liga with 169. In 2008, he became the youngest player to get nominated for FIFA. Though he didn’t win any award in that season but achieved much more appreciation from all the football fans out there.

According to France Football Club, Messi had become the world’s highest-paid footballer for five years out of six between 2009 and 2014. Being a captain of Argentina FC in August 2011, Messi took his national squad to three consecutive grand finales including 2014 FIFA World Cup, 2015 and 2016 Copa America. With this, he also honoured with the ‘Golden Ball’ by the national team’s authority.
