The transfer rumours regarding Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard fueled up again as Spanish media Marca reported that the Belgian will move to Real Madrid sooner than expected.
Hazard deal will be around 100 million Euros which is decided by both the clubs. The Belgian has been in excellent form for Chelsea this year. Despite the club’s lacklustre show, Hazard has scored 16 goals and he also managed to get 12 assists to concrete Chelsea’s position to fight for Premier League top four spots.
Chelsea has also entered the semifinals of UEFA Europa League by beating Slavia Praha 5-3 on aggregate in the quarterfinal ties. According to reports, Hazard has rejected three contract renewal offers from Chelsea and now he has the only year left in his contract.
Earlier, Hazard said that a manager like Zidane who has won three back to back Champions League trophies in his first tenure at Madrid is important for football. However, he cleared his stance by saying that he is just a Zidane supported not a Madrid player.
“I am not a Real Madrid player but as a supporter of Zidane, I was very happy that he came back because football needs Zidane,” Hazard told RMC Sport. “For Real, it is good, for the supporters of Real it is good.
Real Madrid manager has often been vocal about his admiration regarding Hazard football skills. Apart from the club football, the Belgian also took his country to World Cup semifinal last year. The next few matches will be a tough ride for Chelsea as they will face Burnley then Manchester United who are also fighting for the top four positions in the Premier League and in the Europa League semifinals they will clash against Frankfurt to continue their journey in the tournament.
