Roy Keane believes that Manchester City lack the firepower to win the Premier League title this season.

City have had a torrid start to their campaign, with only twelve points from seven games. They sit a lowly 10th position, six adrift of leaders Leicester City and five adrift of Champions Liverpool.

Pep Guardiola’s men have also scored 17 goals less than what they did at the same time the previous year. Former Man Utd captain Roy Keane was quick to criticize The Blues’ lack of depth in the attacking positions.

“I know there were other positions they wanted to fill, a center-half I suppose was a priority. They’ve got nobody but themselves to blame for being short on strikers.

Lack of strength-in-depth will rob City of their title this season claims United legend, Roy Keane.

You have to have strength in depth, particularly if you’re expected to challenge for all the major trophies. I don’t see City winning the league this year.”
