The star ATK forward David Williams kept trying to score an opener for his team in the initial minutes and he finally got success at 25th minute with an energetic shot. This was then followed by another goal for the hosts slotted by Joy Krishna with a breathtaking strike in the 27th minute. While just few minutes later Williams scored another goal in 44th minute to take 3-0 lead in the game. In this way ATK dominated the lop-sided first half with three back-to-back goals.
