Match no. 18th of Indian Super League season six has been ended with a goalless draw between yellow brigades Kerala Blasters and strong contenders Odisha FC at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi. However, both the teams got equal opportunities to take the lead in the game but none of them could able to score against each other. Both Kerala and Goa were at par in terms of possession rate. As a result, the match was wrapped up with 0-0 verdict.

At the beginning of the game, it was the hosts who started well against Odisha FC but soon the star skipper of Kerala Blasters Jairo Rodrigues gave a serious injury scare to the team at 3rd minute. However, Odisha FC tried their best to take advantage of the situation but Blasters kept them at bay. Eventually, the first half of the game ended with a 0-0 scoreline.

Though in the second half of the game, yellow brigades came out with all guns blazing to score an opener of the night. But again their efforts were prevented by the strong defence of Odisha FC. Both the teams were running out of time but failed to find the box after every powerful shot. At last, the referee blew the final whistle and battle between two equally strong teams ended up with 0-0 score.

With this ultimate draw, Kerala Blasters have now reached to the sixth position in current Indian Super League standings along with only four points in account. While on the other hand, Odisha FC moved to the fifth position in recent standings with the same four points in the kitty.

Blasters will next take on the last year’s runners-up FC Goa at the home ground of Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi on December 1st. While Odisha FC will face two-time title lifters Chennaiyin FC at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai on November 28th.
