The 51-year-old experienced footballer said on the development,”I am eagerly waiting to land in New Delhi and get on the task immediately. I have always cherished new challenges, and I am looking forward to coaching the Blue Tigers. Further he also added,”I found some players quite interesting, and have summoned them to the camp”.
Earlier, in last week, the Technical Committee has put the legendary footballer’s name forward to Executive Committee of All India Football Federation, who was expected to take the final call on the decision.
After finishing their King’s Cup campaign Indian tigers will brace themselves for second edition of Intercontinental Cup which is scheduled to be played between four nations namely Syria, North Korea, Tajikistan and India.
