Real Madrid is planning for world best stadium for the bright future of football. The President of Real Madrid Club Florentino Prez has recently unveiled the plan of revamped Santiago Bernabeu. While unveiling the new design President Florentino Prez said, ” The new Santiago Bernabeu will be the “best stadium in the world” and help Real Madrid and the city. Not only this, Real Madrid’s hi-tech plan will also provide fresh source of income to club. The revamping process which costs an estimate of 525 million euros is expected to complete by 2023. However, the new stadium will not be able to increase the current capacity of visitors which is cuurently 81,000.
While unveiling the new plan of digital stadium Prez said,”We want this to be a great digital stadium of the future, and it will be paid for by the income its renovation will provide, and it will make Real Madrid more competitive at a time when the footballing landscape is becoming ever less certain” .

The new Santiago Bernabeu stadium will witness retractable roof and a 360-degree video scoreboard will also be installed in it. Apart from this, the stadium is all set to introduce a surround ‘skin’ of steel bands which will allow the images to be projected onto the surface of the stadium. This Stadium has everything for all as the pedestrian areas in it will be surrounded with restaurants as well as museums along with an expanded mega-store.
Interestingly, the arch-rivals Barcelona who always give a tough fight to Real in every game are planning to set the competition in Stadium renovation also. Barca will also revamp their stadium Camp Nou in order to increase the spectator capacity from 99,000 to 105,000. Barca’s stadium renovation will be complete by 2023/2024.
