Juventus had signed the star player in last summer for 100 million euros ($117 million) from Real Madrid hoping Ronaldo would raise the fan following of the squad. The Italian title-holders have not won any Champions League title since 1996 and finished as runners-up twice in the last four seasons. Juventus will play against Ajax and Manchester United in the next Champions League clash.
