Cristiano Ronaldo has once again created his magic on the field by hitting a spectacular hat-trick in Champions League last 16 match at Allianz, Italy against Atlético Madrid. The Juventus forward singlehandedly lifted his squad to the Champions League quarterfinals. CR7 as he is famously called converted two headers into goals while the third one came as a penalty. This led to the victory of Juventus by 3-0 in the second leg of Champions League 2019 and (3-2 on aggregate). The first goal came at the 27th minute and the second one in the 49th minute of the match. Lastly, at 86th minute Ronald fired his hat-trick.  “Atlético were a difficult team but we were strong too. It was always going to be a special night- and it was, not only for the goals but for the team,” said Cristiano Ronaldo while celebrating his victory. Earlier, both the teams faced each other at Wanda Metropolitano in which the Italian giants were defeated by 2-0.

Ronaldo’s splendid performance in the match helped him to bag his career’s 52nd hat-trick and eighth in Champions League. After this, the Portuguese superstar had joined arch-rival Lionel Messi with most Champions League hat-tricks. Five-time Ballon d’Or winner Ronaldo has also become the first-ever player to fire 125 goals in all UEFA competitions after his hat-trick.
