In London, Fulham are on the lookout for two central defenders and their task is believed to be halved after positive negotiations with Joachim Anderson. The Athletic also claimed that the reports linking Argentine goalkeeper, Paulo Gazzaniga, to Liverpool are wide off the mark. Liverpool are not believed to be in the market for any player.
The happy mood in the Merseyside club Everton continued on the deadline day, when they snapped young English defender Ben Godfrey, from Norwich. The deal is reported to be around 20 million pounds, rising to 24 million pounds with add-ons.
Whereas, Chelsea are looking at the prospect of selling rather than buying on the deadline day. Jorginho, Kepa, Emerson, Alonso, Rudiger, and Sarr are all believed to be in the shop window. Arsenal are also hoping to move on William Saliba, Lucas Torreira, Matteo Guendouzi, Sokratis and Sead Kolasinac.
