Tarkowski has no plans to sign Burnley contract

Burnley’s James Tarkowski has said that he has no plans to extend his current deal at Turf Moor. The defender has been heavily linked with Leicester and West Ham recently and told The Telegraph his current situation with the Clarets.

“Burnley offered me a contract near the start of last season, which, for me personally, it was nowhere near what I was going to sign and I think the club understood. And they’ve come back again this year, and still, for me, it’s just not right.

“There is nothing I have heard or has been put to me that makes me think there is a scenario in which I would sign a new contract at Burnley. That can change, but currently, that is the situation.”

Milan offer Thauvin a huge contract

AC Milan has offered Marseille’s Florian Thauvin a five million euros per season contract at San Siro per season. The French outfit will consider any bid if their asking price of 20 million euros is met. Leicester are also believed to be preparing a bid for the French midfielder.

Inter register interest in Firpo

Barcelona’s Junior Firpo is a subject of interest for Antonio Conte’s Inter Milan. Earlier in the year, it was reported that the Italian side enquired about the defender but were put by the 40 million euros valuation. However, the Italians have not given up on the pursuit of the 24-year-old and will hope that the Catalans reduce their asking price due to the pandemic.

West Brom’s Diangana could be worth more than 40m

West Bromwich Albion summer recruit Grady Diangana could become a £40 million-plus player is he continues his current development, according to former Baggies midfielder Carlton Palmer.

Diangana joined the newly-promoted Premier League side in the summer for £18m from West Ham, but ex-England international Palmer feels the attacking midfielder could end up being worth well over double that.
