Spanish giants Real Madrid have slapped a hefty price of 130 Million Euros on Welshman Gareth Bale as they look for other options after Zinedine Zidane was brought back as coach. Bale, who has been highly unsettled for a while at the Bernabeu, may finally see an option to leave Madrid.
According to reports, Bale is not a part of Zidane’s plans next season as the French manager is looking to revamp the Madrid squad after what may be one of the worst seasons in their history. Bale’s agents Jonathan Barnett and Luis Alonso were seen in Madrid on Thursday and a possibility can be made as to Bale decides where he joins next.
Bayern Munich and Manchester United are highly interested in the Welshman, with the latter club pursuing the winger since 2016. Bale had joined Real for a record fee of 91 Million Euros at the time in 2013 from Tottenham Hotspurs.
Eyeing an exit this summer as well, is German midfielder Toni Kroos. The playmaker has been an integral part of Madrid since joining in 2014, winning three Champions League and the Spanish League as well. Kroos may have completed his journey at Madrid as he looks for other options around Europe.
Once again in the race, Manchester United, Juventus and Inter Milan are interested in the German’s signature.
Real Madrid have had a drastic season since winning the Champions League last season as they saw two coaches being replaced and currently find themselves third on La Liga table, sitting 13 points behind rivals FC Barcelona. The Los Blancos were also knocked out from the Champions League by Ajax, making matters worse club president Florentino Perez.
With Zidane back at the Bernabeu, Madrid aim to get back on track which may also see a complete overhaul to their squad as it is learnt that Madrid have been handed a wallet of 500 Million Euros.
With Eden Hazard being one of the prominent names on the list, Zidane also has his eyes on Manchester United’s Paul Pogba and Paris Saint Germain’s Neymar. The Brazilian has a higher chance of joining the Los Vikingos than Pogba since PSG were ousted from the Champions League once again.
