Earlier in last month, dominating club Barcelona clinched its eighth La Liga title Levante at the home pitch of Camp Nou. Barca toppled over the visitors with an easy smooth-run win of 1-0. The star of the game Lionel Messi took only 16 minutes to score the lone goal for his side to win the precious title. With the strike, Messi took his La Liga goal tally to 34 in 46 games which take him in the lead of golden boot race in Europe once again. Barca proved its dominance at La Liga in current years after winning the final successfully.
The painful defeat in Copa final will straightly be targeted at the head coach of Barcelona club Ernesto Valverde as it is Barca’s second defeat of the season after pulling out from Champion League against Liverpool. The premier league club Liverpool had defeated Barca tigers with a margin of 4-0 at Anfield stadium in the semi-finals. However, La Liga’s win is the only victory for the club this season.
