Star Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane has made up his mind to leave the club next year. The news was published by L’Equipe and MARCA has confirmed the report. The player who has a €500 million release clause with the club will have to reach at some kind of agreement with the club in the same manner as Cristiano Ronaldo did.

Varane is only 25 years old but he signed for Real Madrid 8 years ago and that could be one of the reason he wants to move from the clun to seek some new challenges. If he stays with the club, he will surely be handed the captaincy and will be leading the defence of the club. The reports also suggest that Varane could renew his contract with the club. One of the reasons of renewing the contract could be the difference in the amount of money players like Modric, Ramos and Bale makes whereas Varanae is nowhere close to them.

Varane has had a dream summer winning the world cup and the champions league title. The club that Varane is looking to move to is the English Premier League club, Manchester United. Varane had agreed on a contract extension in 2017 according to which he cannot leave before 2022 but of United wants to sign the defender than they will have to pay in excess of €100 million to have the chance to sit down and talk with president Florentino Perez.
