Unstoppable Indian Women’s Hockey team proved their dominance one more time at FIH Series Finals 2019. Rani Rampal-led Indian squad sealed the final showdown of the grand hockey tournament with a successful margin of 3-1 against Japan at Hiroshima.

After the brilliant knock of India, Japanese player then came into power and leveled up the game with 1-1 at 11th minute with the help of talented player Kanon Mori.

This created tremendous pressure on both the teams but Indian women didn’t lose their cool and kept attacking with the same confidence. This resulted in another goal by Indian dragflicker Gurjit Kaur who took the Indian tally to 2-1 against Japan after flicking second goal for her side at 45th minute.

At the beginning of fourth quarter, India maintained its possession on Japanese players and grabbed some excellent opportunities to convert the third goal but Japan’s goalie showed her brilliance and kept the Indian team outside the box for few minutes.
