One of the strongest contenders of Pro Kabaddi League season seven Bengal Warriors maintained their dominance in the 128th match of the ongoing edition also as they successfully knocked out least-ranked Tamil Thalaivas by 33-29 verdict. Maninder Singh-led squad handed a shocking defeat to the southern lethal in the enthralling kabaddi battle at Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex, Greater Noida on Wednesday. The credit of Bengal’s emphatic win goes to the brilliant trio of Sukesh Hegde, Mohammad Nabibakhsh and Rinku Narwal who scored maximum points for their team.
Not so surprisingly, Bengal Warriors dominated the starting minutes of the first half as they didn’t give many chances to Thalaivas to take the lead. But the ruthless Thalaivas were no less behind the Warriors from grabbing successful raid points. As a result, the first half tied between both the teams with a 13-13 scoreline.
Warriors then picked up the momentum in the second half and enforced their first All-Out of the night against Tamil Thalaivas at 8th minute of restart. Though Thalaivas’ Ajith Kumar tried his best to save the drowning squad but Rinku Narwal was in no mood to lose the game at any cost. Eventually, Warriors had the last laugh and they declared as the winners of the match against Thalaivas.
With this humiliating defeat in the last match, Tamil Thalaiavs wrapped up their show for this season and went back home empty-handed. The star-studded Chennai-based outfit finished at the last position in 2019 PKL standings with only four wins in an account. On the other side, Bengal Warriors secured their place in playoffs with the top-notch position in the recent points table.

This came to happen when Bahubali Siddharth Desai again shined for his team with 11 raid points against UP Yoddha.
