The hosts of the toughest week Bengal Warriors defeated one-time title champions U Mumba in a closely-contested battle at Netaji Indoor Stadium, Kolkata on Wednesday. The Maninder Singh-led squad outplayed Fazel Atrachali’s troop with a scoreline of 29-26 in the 86th match of Pro Kabaddi League season seven. All thanks to star raider Sukesh Hegde and all-rounder Mohammad Nabibakhsh who performed like a star for their team.

So stalwarts of Bengal Warriors Maninder Singh, Mohammad Nabibakhsh and Sukesh Hegde came forward to save their side against poor defensive unit of U Mumba. Eventually, with no surprise, Warriors inflicted their first All-Out of the game against Mumba at 16th minute. As a result, the first half ended with a 16-13 lead in favour of Warriors.

In the second half also, Mumba boys kept on repeating their silly mistakes and Warriors continued to put up an excellent show in the game.
