Star raider of Bengaluru Bulls Pawan Sehrawat drove his side to the incredible 30-26 win in the 15th encounter of Pro Kabaddi League season 7 against home side U Mumba who is playing at the home ground of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Indoor Stadium on Sunday. Fazel Atrachali’s men looked more confident than ever against Bulls as they are holding a quite good record against Bulls with 10 victories earlier in PKL fixture.

Things started quite well for the home side U Mumba as previous match’s superstar Deshwal got off an early lead in the match but Bengaluru somehow eased past the Atrachali and team in order to take the lead at 11th minute. In reply Mumba also covered the gap at 14th minute. The match was kept on shifting from one side to another but at the end of the first half, it was Bengaluru who led the scoreboard with 13-11.

At the beginning of the second half, Mumba started vigorously as they did all-out Bengaluru squad in 24 minutes and again grabbed the reigns with a scoreline of 16-13. After this, Bengaluru’s showman Pawan Sehrawat showed his magic and turned the fortunes in Bengaluru’s favour. Sehrawat flipped over Sandeep Narwal’s back to cross the mid-line. In the dying minutes of the battle Sehrawat again got a strong lead against Narwal and danger man Deshwal and bagged total nine raid points for his side. With this match, brilliant player Sehrawat also reached his 300-point milestone in PKL.

It was a difficult win but an important one for Bengaluru Bulls after they finally had a win with a score reading 30-26 in their favour. With this hard-fought win, defending champions climbed up in current Pro Kabaddi League standings as they are now reigning at the fifth spot with total 10 points. While on the other side, U Mumba also improved despite losing their match as now they reached the second position in the current standings with 11 points in account.

Rohit Kumar-led Bengaluru Bulls will next battle with Bengal Warriors on August 3rd at Gachibowli Stadium while U Mumba squad will face a lowly-ranked team of UP Yoddha in their next encounter on July 31st.
