Haryana Steelers steal the show one more time as they stunned defending champions Bengaluru Bulls by 33-30 in the 36th match of Pro Kabaddi League 2019 at EKA Arena, Gujarat. The credit of Haryana’s emphatic win goes to star raider Vikash Khandola who shined out yet again in the game for his side as he scored 12 raid points against Bengaluru boys. With this successful victory, he also took his personal tally to next level he scored 200 raid points in PKL so far.

Haryana kick-started the game vigorously as the experienced raider Vikash gave a stellar performance at the beginning of the thrilling match. He scored a point in his very first do or die raid against the Bulls. With his strong raid, Vikash eliminated crucial player of Bengaluru Bulls, Pawan Sehrawat and in the next minute star captain of Haryana Dharmaraj Cheralathan tackled Mohit Sehrawat to reduce the gap between the two teams. Steelers kept their hawkeye on Pawan Sehrawat as he has been seen in a great form for Bengaluru Bulls in this season so it was important for Haryana to keep him out of the equation. In the edgy first half, both the teams tried hard to suppress each other but it was Haryana who inflicted the first all-out on Bulls in the dying minutes of the first break. At the end of the first half scorecard read in the favour of Bengaluru Bulls with 17-16 points.

In the second half of the game, Haryana turned the tables in their favour as brilliant defender Vikas Kale came forward to drive his squad to the victory. As a result, Steelers clinched their third win of the season with a scoreline of 33-30 on Sunday.

With this hard-fought win, Haryana Steelers obtained 16 points in current Pro Kabaddi League standings but still remained at the ninth spot while Bulls improved better in the points table despite facing painful defeat. Bengaluru Bulls reached to the second position in current standings along with 21 points in account.

Now, Rohit Kumar-led squad is looking forward to take on UP Yoddha at EKA Arena, Gujarat on Monday whereas Haryana Steelers will also lock horns with UP Yoddha at the same ground on August 14th.
