Naveen Express drove the Dabang Delhi squad to victorious destination after an edgy nail-biter against last year’s runners-up Gujarat Fortune Giants at Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Wrestling Hall on Sunday. Delhi shocked confident Fortunegiants with a 34-30 win in the 91st match of Pro Kabaddi League season seven. Not so surprisingly, in this match also the star of the show was Naveen Kumar who bagged 12 raid points relentlessly. Despite being closely challenged by the opponents, Naveen didn’t lose his confidence and kept on scoring for his team.

The first half was a neck-to-neck battle for both the teams as none of them was ready to give a single point in the game. It was superstar defender Ravinder Pahal who somehow grabbed two successful tackle points for Delhi in the initial stage. But in reply, Gujarat’s Ruturaj Koravi was also ready to lift his team up in the first half. It seemed like Ruturaj’s efforts were not enough to stop Naveen express as he marked a five-point raid in the ninth minute to clinch first All-Out of the night for Dabang Delhi K.C. As a result, the first half ended up in favour of Delhi’s squad.

The second half of the match also didn’t bring good fortunes for Gujarat as their raiders kept on struggling for points against Delhi. Eventually, the table-toppers enforced their second All-Out of the match on Gujarat Giants in early minutes of the restart. After this, Gujarat tried very hard to reduce the gap between both the squads but unfortunately, it was not their day and Delhi clinched the win with 34-30 verdict.

Here’s see the match highlights of the edgy nail-biter between top-ranked Dabang Delhi K.C and Gujarat Fortune Giants at Pro Kabaddi League 2019:

With this hard-fought win, Delhi maintained its dominance on the top-most position of Pro Kabaddi League Standings along with as many as 64 points in account. On the other hand, Gujarat Giants moved down to ninth spot along with 35 points in recent standings.
