The all-round performance of inaugural season title lifters Jaipur Pink Panthers held strong opponents Haryana Steelers to a 32-32 draw on Wednesday at Netaji Indoor Stadium. Both the teams and their captains put the best efforts to clinch the game in a see-saw battle but Jaipur played out a worth-watching tie at the end.

Eyeing on a sixth successive win in Pro Kabaddi League season seven, Steelers got off an excellent start with the help of brilliant raider Vikas Kandola in the early minutes. But Pink Panthers were also no less behind than the powerful opponents as they also marked some solid raids on their name. Star skipper Deepak Niwas Hooda’s raiding prowess helped the Panthers to enforce their first All-Out of the night on Steelers at 16th minute of the first half. In reply to their All-Out, Steelers then bounced back with a five-point raid in the dying minutes of the first half. As a result, Haryana led the scoreboard with 18-14 against Jaipur at halftime.

Despite putting all his efforts in the game Hooda didn’t get the right support from his team as he was battling out for Jaipur singlehandedly. He kept on scoring for his team’s win with the back-to-back successful raids. At last his hard work paid off as Jaipur inflicted its second All-Out against Haryana in the final minutes of the second half. This resulted in the game leveled up between both the squads with a 32-32 verdict.
