After their painful defeat against Haryana Steelers in the last match, defending champions Bengaluru Bulls fall short yet again in an edgy nail biter at EKA Arena, Gujarat on Monday. In the 39th match of Pro Kabaddi League 2019, UP Yoddha toppled Bengaluru Bulls with a great 35-33 win in a classic encounter.

Right from the beginning of the game, Bulls seemed to look more aggressive as they took an early 6-1 lead against UP boys in just first three minutes. All thanks to ‘Hi-Flyer’ raider Pawan Sehrawat who opened an account for his side with five brilliant points. Though UP Yoddha gave a fierce reply to Sehrawat’s action-pack performance with the help of stylish player Monu Goyat who strongly tackled opponent squad and scored two Super Tackle points for his side. Later in the game, the main players of UP Yoddha Goyat and Shrikant Jadhav picked up touch points in consecutive raids. As a result, the Bulls squad reduced to two men only in the first half. It was then followed by showman Pawan Sehrawat who came forward to rescue his squad and began his majestic performance on the mat in the crucial time. Pawan inflicted first all-out of the game against UP Yoddha before the ending of first half. This resulted in the scoreline between the teams leveled up with 15-15.

In the second half of the game, both the teams started a bit slowly as both were looking for a massive do or die raid. But it was again Bulls who grabbed the chance first and picked up a successful sequence of Do-or-Die raid. When only nine minutes were left for the final whistle Shrikant Jadhav came on his own and inflicted another all-out raid against Bulls in order to take a six-point advantage.

Unstoppable Pawan Sehrawat then went on for the ride of successful raids which ensured the victory of UP Yoddha over defending champions. At last high on confidence Yoddhas finally clinched their second victory of the season against Rohit Kumar-led Bulls.
