In the thrilling neck-to-neck tussle between Telugu Titans and UP Yoddha, both the squads outplayed each other as the 21st encounter of Pro Kabaddi League season 7 witnessed a 20-20 tie. In the low-scoring yet exciting face-off both Titans and Yoddhas put up a great show against each other.

At the beginning of the game, both the teams went hard on each other but it was Titans who broke the silence first and trailed by 5-2 lead just after five minutes of the starting. But Yoddhas were also no less behind in the competition as they leveled up the game at 7-7. Meanwhile, brilliant defender Amit came forward to put in a terrific tackle against Titans and led his side by 9-11. This was followed by Shrikant Jadhav’s ‘do or die’in the 20th minute and the game leveled up again by 11-11 on scoreboard after the ending of the first half. Popular raiding duo of Titans, Desai Brothers scored seven raid points together before the ending of first half.

In the second half, both the squads got off a clumsy start and after 29 minutes the scoreboard was leveled up one more time with 14-14. This exemplary match showed the perfect edgy PKL encounter to all the Kabaddi fans out there. As time passed swiftly both the teams tried hard to accelerate in the game but strong defensive units of Titans and Yoddhas kept the stadium quite. It came two do or die situations in the match in the second half and fortunately, Siddharth Desai managed to earn one of them while UP Yoddhas failed to do so. When only four minutes were left for the match ending whistle the score was again tied with 19-19 and in the final minute, the game ended with 20-20 lock between Telugu Titans and UP Yoddha.

With this worth-watching tie, Yoddhas improved better in the current points table as they reached to the eighth position in PKL standings along with eight points while Telugu Titans are still struggling at the second-last position with five points in their account.

Abozar Mighani-led Titans will next battle against defending champions Bengaluru Bulls on August 8th at Patliputra Sports Complex, Patna while UP Yoddha will take on Tamil Thalaivas on August 7th at the same pitch.
