After the first half of the final leg in Pro kabaddi League 2019 at Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex, Greater Noida, the points table has been updated on Wednesday. The strong contenders Dabang Delhi K.C still maintained their dominance on the top-notch position of recently updated PKL standings with 82 points in account. Delhi has played 21 matches so far in the ongoing season and out of these 21 matches the toppers have won 15 and lost four games. While the remaining two encounters have been drawn with opponents.

In the latest PKL rankings, the hosts for the week UP Yoddha climbed up to the fourth spot with 68 points from 20 games. The UP boys began their home-leg on a happy note as they beat the table-toppers Dabang Delhi K.C with a great margin of 50-33 in a lop-sided match. The credit of UP’s emphatic win goes to the star player Monu Goyat who scored impressive Super 10 raid points for his team in front of the home crowd. With only two matches in hand, UP Yoddha will go all out to book their spot in playoffs and clear their ways for the finals.

On the other side, three-time title lifters Patna Pirates along with last year’s runners-up Gujarat Fortune Giants said goodbye to this season after finishing at the lower ranks. However, the last two teams in the current points table Telugu Titans and Tamil Thalaivas will also wrap-up their show in the PKL 2019 after their respective matches in the upcoming days.

As the seventh edition of grand Kabaddi carnival is heading towards its final showdown all the high-ranked teams pull up their socks to secure their berths in playoffs. Only a few matches have left for challenging playoff battle week, it will be interesting to see which team will make its ways to the climax session.
