Many speculations have been brewing up since past two weeks on the opponent of Dolph Ziggler in upcoming WWE SummerSlam 2019. From WWE Hall of Famer, Bill Goldberg to ‘The Miz’ many names have come forward to compete with the star giant Ziggler but out of these superstars, only one wrestler will be selected for the much-anticipated fight. It seems like the wait is finally over as a clear picture has emerged after a statement by great wrestling observer Dave Meltzer. As per his statement, Bill Goldberg could wrestle with Ziggler at this year’s Summerslam.

Meltzer was asked how did he know it was Bill Goldberg? who wrestle against Dolph Ziggler in SummerSlam. At this, he replied, “I didn’t know it was Bill Goldberg.” They didn’t realize I said I didn’t know. All these people said I said it was Bill Goldberg when I didn’t say it at first. So it is in fact Bill Goldberg and that’s how I figured it out”.

Earlier in last week, Ziggler was also seen provoking the former WWE champion Goldberg in order to build a storyline before his exciting feud at upcoming ‘Biggest party of Summer’. However, nothing could be confirmed whether the two giants will meet each other or not at the forthcoming show this month.

There is no denying the fact that Goldberg performed terribly in his last show at Saudi Arabia where he faced WWE legend Undertaker. In that Super ShowDown event, the 52-year-old wrestling veteran Goldberg lost the match awfully crushing the hopes of his fans to win the game after a long gap. Undertaker launched his vintage Tombstone Piledriver against Goldberg to pin down the wrestler in a head-on-head battle. After this terrible feud, he was highly criticized by whole WWE Universe due to his unacceptable performance. Now the experienced giant wants to redeem himself in an upcoming flagship event of SummerSlam 2019 which is scheduled to be held on Scotiabank Arena, Toronto.

Matches like Randy Orton vs Kofi Kingston, AJ Styles vs Ricochet, and Trish Stratus vs Charlotte Flair, Kevin Owens vs Shane McMahon, Seth Rollins vs Brock Lesnar, Bayley vs Ember Moon, Becky Lynch vs Natalya, and Finn Balor vs Bray Wyatt have been confirmed so far in the event.
