The star American wrestler Chris Jericho who has recently been signed under the electrifying wrestling brand of All Elite Wrestling, made a speculation that ‘Lunatic Fringe’ Dean Ambrose could soon join the roster of AEW Championship, scheduled to take place on May 25. The 48-year-old Jericho said on the development, “we left the door open for the Lunatic Fringe to join the fray alongside Cody Rhodes and other top non-WWE talents in AEW”. He also added, “Ambrose is a star, he’s a great performer, he’s a great character. When you get a great performer, it doesn’t matter what company they were before because they’re at a top level”
Ambrose made his last-ever appearance for WWE at ‘The Shield’s Final Chapter’ where he teamed up with the shield brothers Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns to face the team of Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin and Bobby Lashley. ‘Almighty’ wrestler Lashley had earlier defeated the giant Ambrose in his farewell match at WWE RAW event which leads to become the reason of sad goodbye of the superstar.
Moreover, the former WWE champion Ambrose announced his retirement from the ring after which he was officially removed from WWE roster. The ‘Lunatic’ wrestler has now been moved to the alumni section of WWE’s megastars page. Earlier, before quitting the company in April 2019, he faced one more defeat from AJ Styles at the thrilling match of Backlash pay-per-view.
Now the decision is only in Dean’s hands that whether he wants to battle in the feud with other brilliant wrestling talents or not. Though, Jericho seems to give a hint on the joining of Ambrose inside the AEW ring.
