The star member of ‘New Day’ Kofi Kingston has recently seen in an interesting interview session with Alex McCarthy of TalkSPORT where he spoke his heart out about the humiliating defeat against WWE Champion Brock Lesnar. Kingston stated that he was very disappointed when the match was ended in just nine seconds at the debut episode of SmackDown Live on Fox.

While expressing his thoughts about the one-on-one fight against Brock Lesnar at debut episode of SmackDown Live on Fox, Kingston said, “It was a bit of a disappointment to go out there and have it go so quickly on the biggest night of SmackDown. To have it end like that, yeah it was a little bit disheartening, but it is what it is”.

However, Kingston tried his best not to give up so easily in front of the Beast Incarnate but Lesnar was not in a mood to waste any time over babyface Kingston in the WWE Championship feud. As a result,  he pinned down the experienced giant in just few seconds clinched the lustrous title of WWE Champion in front of the whole WWE Universe.

Currently, Kingston is preparing for his next fight in the squared circle along with his teammates Xavier Woods and Big E. The New Day group is going to fight against The Revival in SmackDown Tag Team Championship at WWE Live Mexico City Supershow on November 30th. Former WWE champion Kofi Kingston will perform with his mates after a long gap. Ever since he stepped into singles wrestling championships in WWE this year, he didn’t participate in any tag team match with New Day. It will be interesting to see how will these three entertainers (Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and Big E) of New Day perform in the upcoming battle.

Apart from New Day, a strong team of Rey Mysterio and Humberto Carrillo is also going to fight in the forthcoming tag team championships against  Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. While the Kabuki Warriors will face RAW champion Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair in WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match.
