The ‘New Day’ star Kofi Kingston faced a monstrous assault by WWE Superstar Dolph Ziggler which came as a big shock for American wrestler at the stage of this week’s SmackDown Live. The 37-year-old Kingston who was all set to take on Sami Zayn in the ring was attacked by returning superstar Ziggler from behind which stunned him terribly.
Ziggler grabbed a steel chair and other horrifying weapons to smash Kofi Kingston at the stage. However, the reason for attack on Kofi Kingston was not confirmed by the 38-year-old wrestler. He might reveal the reason in the upcoming week.
Earlier in this year’s Royal Rumble, Ziggler pinned down the WWE champion Drew McIntyre and booked his seat in the final of Rumble feud which was featuring three superstars including Braun Strowman who eliminated the giant after a tough fight. Now both the power-pack superstars Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman faced each other in Super Showdown Show at Saudi Arabia.

Earlier in the day another New Day member Big E again suffered a meniscus injury after Kevin Ownes walked to the backstage area and ambushed the American wrestler ruthlessly. It seems like Ownes came to crush the New Day gang before the starting of fight.
Earlier in last week at the star-studded flagship event of WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view 2019, Kofi Kingston and Kevin Ownes faced each other where Big O lost the title opportunity against New day member and this is the reason why he tried to hurt the club at SmackDown Live.
At present nothing could be said that when will both the members of New Day will join back as it turned out to be the horrifying day for New Day club. Moreover, Kingston and Ownes will take on each other again at WWE Super ShowDown event which is scheduled to be held at Saudi Arabia in King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, on June 7.
