A shocking twist has unveiled for the upcoming event of Super ShowDown 2019 as the ‘Slayer’ Seth Rollins is going to battle with WWE superstar Baron Corbin instead of newly made Mr. Money in the Bank Brock Lesnar in the grand event. This comes after, ‘The Beast Incarnate’ Lesnar didn’t confirm that who will be his opponent to cash-in Money in the Bank contract. Moreover, the star-studded event of Super ShowDown is scheduled to be held at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, Saudi Arabia on June 7. The action-pack tournament will feature many nail-biting bouts including Randy Orton vs. Triple H, Goldberg vs. The Undertaker, Big Dog Roman Reigns vs Shane McMahon and Seth Rollins vs Baron Corbin also.

This is not the first time when Rollins is going to face Corbin as they faced each other in TLC match in December 2018 where the Universal Champion defeated the RAW star with his unpredictable knocks.

Corbin could give tough fight to Rollins in claiming Universal Championship title as he defeated The Miz, Bobby Lashley, and Braun Strowman previously to earn his first world championship match after falling in 2018. He made his in-ring debut for WWE in 2016 and faced immense success in his World Titles career. The only time he failed to grab World Title was when he battle in the WWE World Championship December 27, 2016.

Earlier in the month of flagship event WrestleMania 35, Corbin retired Hall of Famer Kurt Angle in his farewell match at MetLife Stadium on April 7. Though, the WWE Universe didn’t expect Corbin’s victory in the game against legendary wrestler Angle but he proved his caliber and pinned down the giant very cleverly.

Here is the match card of WWE Super ShowDown which is going to be organised in Saudi Arab:

  • Roman Reigns vs Shane McMahon
