WWE superstar Shinsuke Nakamura has paid tribute to legendary New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) star as well as Bullet Club member Taiji Ishimori in the recent glitzy event of WWE SmackDown. The 39-year-old Japanese wrestler was seen replicating Ishimori’s move during action-pack six-man tag team match against New Day’s Xavier Woods. Nakamura hit the brilliant Sliding German Suplex move to star giant in order to smash Woods in emphatic fight. The move is generally famous for Ishimori who performed this vintage lock with perfection during his New Japan Pro Wrestling matches. However, the 32-year-old Woods is all set to bring his own YouTube channel namely UpUpDownDown. In this digital channel, the WWE fans would get to see an entirely new collection of superstars who would be locked up in the digital space, compete for the new UpUpDownDown battle.
In the exciting six-man tag team match at SmackDown Live on Tuesday the brilliant trio of Cesaro, Rusev, and Shinsuke Nakamura battled with the equally challenging team of Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, and Kevin Owens. The New Day tied up with Owens for the very first time and luckily the brand trio won their debut Tag team match in WWE. Apart from Tag team champions, big names in the form like Roman Reigns, Finn Balor, and Buddy Murphy performed exceptionally well in the blue brand.
After the breath-taking battle among the duo, former WWE United States Champion Nakamura took to Twitter to thank him for this kind of inspiring move and right after his tweet former IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion Ishimori reverted with a unique message for ‘The King of Strong Style’.
