The WWE RAW and Smackdown title winner Becky Lynch is all set to defend not just RAW but SmackDown tag also in the upcoming Money in the Bank pay-per-view championship. The 32-year-old will defend the Raw Women’s Championship title against new comer Lacey Evans and on the other side faces WWE sensation Charlotte Flair to defend in SmackDown Women’s Championship.
Lynch had earlier faced Flair in the grand flagship event of WWE WrestleMania 35 where she fought with Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey in the triple threat to become the strongest female wrestler. In that match Lynch pinned down Rousey with her vintage Piper’s Pit move which later on became the reason for Rousey’s injury.
While expressing herself on battling in dual feud, Lynch said, “I wanted to face different superstars while defending her title, but was constantly having to face Flair despite continually beating her”.
However, the fresh face of WWE RAW Lacey Evans won the chance to battle with champion wrestler Becky Lynch after she had beaten up superstar Natalya at WWE RAW night on Monday. Evans narrowly escaped in the match against sharpshooter Natalya as in the end she jumped to perform an impressive Top Rope Moonsault to put her aside in the ring. Evans started to build the storyline against Lynch earlier at the time of ramp walk in WWE SmackDown Live when she attacked her determinedly. Lynch’s match against Evans will be her first ever battle after her debut in 2019 Royal Rumble Women’s Championship. With both the titles lined up in upcoming week Lynch is floating between two different brand and now it will be interesting to see that whether she will continue her hold in esteem in WWE or not.
