The Viper Randy Orton has recently challenged the WWE veteran John Cena for a one-on-one fight in the upcoming flagship event of WrestleMania 36 which is scheduled to take place at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on April 6th, 2020.
The Viper Orton took to his official Instagram handle to challenge the legendary wrestler John Cena for a fight at the grand stage of WrestleMania 36. He said “I’m on a flight to London and see this striking young man asking me a question. Why Yes @Johncena I am up for a challenge, are you? Let say ohhhh I dunno, #WrestleMania36 maybe? Or does Hollywood have you booked solid? #WM36”.
However, Cena didn’t respond to his challenging post so far but the entire WWE Universe is eagerly waiting for his answer. If both the legendary wrestlers Randy Orton and John Cena will get ready to face each other in the upcoming event of WrestleMania 2020 then it is going to be the biggest fight of WWE ever.
Both the superstars Orton and Cena have already battled against each other at the stage of WrestleMania in 2008 and this would be their second time in the flagship event if they scheduled to fight against each other in Mania 36. It will be interesting to see how the experienced giant John Cena will react to the challenging post of Randy Orton.
The Viper was last seen in action in the grand event of Crown Jewel 2019 at King Fahd International Stadium, Saudi Arabia two months back. In the highly-entertaining roster, Orton captained the Team Flair for the nail-biting 10-man tag team match against Team Hogan which was led by Big Dog Roman Reigns. Team Flair featured the WWE superstars like Randy Orton, King Corbin, Shinsuke Nakamura, Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre and Ric Flair while on the other hand, Team Hogan was consist of Roman Reigns, Rusev, Ricochet, Ali, and Shorty G, Hulk Hogan and Jimmy Hart. However, Orton-led Team Flair lost disappointingly to Team Hogan as Big Dog Roman Reigns pinned down The Viper without much fuss on the battle.
