WWE star female wrestler Ronda Rousey who injured herself in the full-fledged fight at WrestleMania 35 against the RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch could make her next appearance to WWE only in 2020 as she is undergoing major surgery. The 32-year-old superstar was knocked down in a Triple threat match against Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. Fighting against all the odds Lynch pinned down Rousey’s vintage Piper’s Pit by rolling her back to win the powerful title of Show of Shows. ‘The Man’ Becky Lynch turned around her fortunes after defeating Ronda Rousey in WWE Mania 2019. During the exciting feud with Lynch after sidelined Flair, Ronda Rousey had broken her hand. Moreover, Beck Lynch will next face the ‘Lady of WWE’ herself Lacey Evans in her upcoming WWE battle.
WWE official sources said on the development, “WWE officials are hopeful that the UFC Hall Of Famer returns to the company either later this year or next year but Rousey has given WWE no clear indication of her next move.” Rousey’s potential comeback does not seem to look so early as she could join the ring either later this year or as far as 2020. Though WWE Universe did not confirm anything that how long Rousey will be absent from the ring.
Rousey made her ring debut in last year’s WrestleMania 34 where she teamed-up with Hall of Famer Kurt Angle to defeat the equally robust team of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. Not only this Rousey had also made a surprise appearance in 2018 Royal Rumble in which she faced WWE RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss, SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair and Royal Rumble Champion Asuka.
